42 ayudas para prácticas profesionales en Marruecos, Cabo Verde y Senegal

El Cabildo de Tenerife, a través de la Consejería delegada de Acción Exterior, y en colaboración con la Fundación Canaria  Insular para la Formación, el Empleo y el Desarrollo Empresarial (Fifede), ha abierto una nueva convocatoria de 42 ayudas para la realización de prácticas profesionales no laborales para titulados de Tenerife a través de una estancia cinco meses en empresas de Marruecos, Cabo Verde y Senegal. La solicitud se puede tramitar en la web de Fifede.

La consejera de Acción Exterior, Delia Herrera, recuerda que esta es la cuarta convocatoria para practicas profesionales no laborales del programa de movilidad Becas África. «Este programa ha concedido ya más de una veintena de ayudas a jóvenes titulados de la Isla en situación de desempleo, ofreciéndoles así un impulso a su carrera profesional en países de la costa occidental africana y, en algunos casos, abriendo puertas a nuevas contrataciones laborales, gracias también al aprendizaje del idioma».

Las empresas donde se realizarán las prácticas de esta nueva convocatoria, que comenzarán el próximo noviembre, pertenecen a la hostelería, la construcción y las energías renovables. Los beneficiarios percibirán una ayuda directa de 500 euros brutos mensuales y, con carácter previo al inicio de las prácticas, se beneficiarán de un programa formativo financiado por el Cabildo a través de cursos organizados por Fifede  en prevención de riesgos u otro complementario para mejorar las competencias en el idioma del país receptor. Los gastos de viaje y alojamiento, permisos y seguros serán cubiertos por el proyecto.

Los requisitos para ser beneficiario de esta ayuda son: ser español, residente en Tenerife y mayor de edad. Haber finalizado los estudios en 2010 o en años posteriores, estar desempleado y no disfrutar de otra beca similar. También se debe tener un nivel mínimo de A1 de francés.

El consejero de Empleo, Leopoldo Benjumea, señala que este proyecto de movilidad se encuentra integrado en el Programa 4.1 Tenerife por el Empleo, del Marco Estratégico Plurianual de Actuaciones para el Desarrollo de Tenerife 2016-2025, aprobado por el Cabildo dentro de su apuesta por favorecer la empleabilidad de aquellos colectivos más vulnerables, destacando el papel de Fifede en este cometido.

El proyecto Becas África, que nació en 2014, pretende seguir favoreciendo la internacionalización de la economía de Tenerife hacia los países de África Occidental, mediante la especialización de los titulados tinerfeños desempleados, residentes en la Isla, a través de la continuidad del programa de prácticas formativas no laborales en entidades colaboradoras de estos países, pudiendo tratarse de entes públicos o de empresas privadas.

Este programa de formación para jóvenes forma parte de la estrategia del Cabildo denominada Tenerife 2030, que persigue la capacitación y formación de las nuevas generaciones para afrontar un futuro con mayores garantías. Dentro de esa capacitación, el aprendizaje de idiomas figura como un elemento clave para convertir a Tenerife en una isla exterior.
